The Digital Marketing Analyst on the Digital Properties team ensures Darden brands' owned website and apps reflect agreed upon marketing strategies, offer best-in-class user experience and maximize guest engagement with the brand while identifying high-converting channel strategies to achieve brands’ strategic goals and visions.

The main objective of the position is to assist in the creation and execution of innovative and compelling channel strategies that will drive brand awareness and conversions for the Darden portfolio. He/she also interacts closely with individuals at all levels throughout the organization across various functions to make this happen, including external vendor partners, to ensure accurate implementation of marketing initiatives across owned digital guest touch points.


-Serves as subject matter expert for websites and mobile apps when working in conjunction with the IT department

-Serves as a key contributor in the development of the Darden’s digital evolution and oversee implementation in the websites and mobile apps

-Responsible for validating marketing content deployments across all digital guest touch points

-Reviews web analytics on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis and pull insights to influence improvement for guest conversion and engagement

-Analyzes data to recommend content strategy that will help drive effective and efficient media conversions and media activation

-Inputs into the strategic roadmap for our digital properties, outlining future enhancements that elevate the value to our guests

-Monitor and verify content and major functional enhancements across multiple websites and mobile apps and monitoring their performance and share learnings

-Works closely with Digital Properties ABMs and Manager on web and mobile app analytic insights

-Serves as a liaison between marketing brand managers and cross-functional IT resources as well as enterprise partners and subject matter experts.

-Partners with IT on the identification and recommendations for new technology ideas

-Facilitates completion of activities or resolution of issues with members of the cross-functional team, vendors, agencies, and fellow interactive partners

-Takes on and completes special projects as requested

-Available 24/7 to address critical issues that impact restaurant operations


-Minimum 4 years of experience servicing high volume web marketing initiatives

-Minimum 4 years of experience working with web and mobile app coupled with a strong CMS background

-Solid understanding of web and mobile app design including its limitations, challenges and opportunities (e.g. user experience)

-Analyze opportunities and problems using best practices to drive product prioritization and strategy

-Outstanding client service abilities and partnership skills

-Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment


-Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, digital marketing or a related field required; MBA strongly preferred


-Strong understanding of how web experiences (e.g., desktop sites, mobile sites, mobile apps) fit into the -broader marketing strategies

-Strong familiarity of Analytics (e.g., Omniture, Google, Media tagging / floodlights)

-Experience with Alexa requirements, including product design flows, interactions, and content strategies in collaboration with business leaders, stakeholders and brand management.

-Strong writing skills - have the ability to interpret information and clearly articulate your insights through multiple forms of written content

-Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize various job activities/tasks, including the ability to problem-solve and multi-task when necessary

-Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision

-Organization and time management skills with the ability to organize, plan, and follow-up with tasks

-Analytical mindset, coupled with critical thinking skills

-Strong Project Management a plus

-Detailed oriented


-Experience with Photoshop is a plus

-Previous experience in the Restaurant Company, Hospitality Company, Consumer Packaged Goods Company, or Advertising Agency
