JOB OVERVIEW:

This position reports into the Manager of Product Planning.

Responsibilities include supporting cross-functional teams by providing product usage forecasts; supply chain direction; facilitating the approval process for new, LTO, and annual commitment to products; and providing obsolete inventory/special freight oversight and tracking. Also assist with month-end support.


ROLE AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

Financial

-Responsible for forecasting food and beverage products for LongHorn Steakhouse.

-Support cross functional teams to understand menu changes, product risk, and business trends that impact forecasts for new, current, tests, and deleted products.

-Prepares Purchasing Authorizations Forms (PAF’s) using cross-functional data. Responsible for ensuring approval from leadership teams.

-Tracks and reviews new and discontinued products with supply management to ensure product timing and positioning is aligned.

-Prepare usage models for new and test products to determine volume needs and communicates forecasts.

-Prepares weekly/monthly analysis for costs associated with all brands obsolete inventory and special freight.


Process Excellence

-Works to streamline and automate reporting – this includes but is not limited to product forecasts, special projects, one off requests.

-Prepares and distributes product snapshots and product planning tools for operators for menu changes.

-Assists purchasing with product set-ups in iSupply and iKitchen which include but are not limited to: activation / inactivation, phase-in/outs, order limits, and auto-shipments.

-Help maintain restaurant order guides and quantities for auto-shipments for all new restaurant openings. Also assists with brand photoshoot orders to ensure the proper product codes are requested.

-Prepares and distributes credit and donation forms to operations for obsolete products from tests, promotions, and core menu changes.

-Perform Ad-hoc requests as necessary.


REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:

-Minimum of 2 years in Accounting, Finance

-Strong systems knowledge, including databases and web

-Working knowledge of running jobs in Business Intelligence

-Ability to prepare concise reports for senior management with independent insights


REQUIRED EDUCATION:

-BS/BA degree in, Finance, Business, or Accounting


OTHER KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

-Excellent customer service skills

-Demonstrated strong attention to details and follow-through skills

-Demonstrated ability to multi-task while meeting strict deadlines in a fast paced environment

-Ability to plan, organize and lead projects with minimal guidance

-Strong written and oral communication skills, with demonstrated ability to communicate with all levels in an informational and presentational format


PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

-Experience with iKitchen, iSupply, Oracle Item Master or Menu System a plus
