JOB OVERVIEW:

The Beverage Coordinator is a support role on the Enterprise Beverage Team consisting of beverage partner and out of stock management, new restaurant rollouts, maintain all RSC beverage supplies, ability to set up drink presentations and maintaining all beverage pricing. A solid knowledge of Excel, great communication skills, an ability to work in a fast-moving working environment are cornerstones of this role as supplier and distributor communication will be a large portion of the job duties.


ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Responsible for out-of-stock issues and communication between partners and restaurant management on the resolution

-Manage order guides, beverage pricing and distributor price books

-Manage partner contacts

-Maintain mandatory and approved brands by concept

-Ensure shared database is updated

-Ensure most recent versions of beverage menus are on the portal

-Direct communication with suppliers and distributors regarding beverage programming

-Maintain inventory of development bar & wine cage

-Assist with RSC orders

-Ability to build cocktails for concept presentations

-Maintain beverage calendars


REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:

-Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite specifically with excel and excel based formulas

-Minimum of 2-3 years bartender experience

-Knowledge of the 3-Tier system

-Knowledge and / or history of working in a supply chain role preferred

-Knowledge of beverage companies and which brands they represent


REQUIRED EDUCATION:

-High School Diploma

-Associate / bachelor's degree Preferred


OTHER KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

-Strong communication skills

-Excellent organization skills


PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

-Bar Smarts certified preferred

-Excellent knowledge of craft / import beer, spirts and wine

-Beverage distributor or supplier experience a plus

-Knowledge of restaurant operations a plus
