JOB OVERVIEW:
The Associate Digital Activation Manager will be responsible for Darden brands' owned website and apps reflecting agreed upon marketing strategies, offer best-in-class user experience and maximize guest engagement with the brand. This includes organizing and verifying content changes across multiple websites and media channels. He/she will deliver on the technical data and digital marketing component while simultaneously overseeing strategy, in partnership with internal teams and external vendor partners, to ensure accurate implementation of marketing initiatives across owned digital guest touch points. He/she will be responsible for ensuring technical execution of digital campaigns on our digital properties are within industry best practices.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Responsible verifying a number of creative materials ranging from web copy, images, data files or managed content as well as variations of content for mobile devices.
-Responsible for leading the technical partnership and communication with IT for general maintenance (site speed, performance), issue findings, resolutions on our platform and apps on behalf of Darden brands.
-Help drive growth in engagement of our core mobile experience through defining best-in-class communication strategies & assets.
-Inputs into the strategic roadmap for our digital properties, outlining future enhancements that elevate the value to our guests, preparing recommendations for Brand partners and gaining alignment.
-Develops project plans to include deliverables, activities, milestones, etc.
-Serves as a liaison between marketing brand managers and cross-functional IT resources as well as enterprise partners and subject matter experts.
-Owns and leads the identification and resolution of key issues / defects on several digital guest touch points, as well as recommendations on new tech ideas.
-Serve as the first point of contact to review platform and app enhancements and/or new functionality.
-Improve efficiency and effectiveness regarding processes (internally and cross-functionally).
-Helps prepare and deliver training materials to various stakeholders as needed.
-Facilitates completion of activities or resolution of issues with members of the cross-functional team, vendors, agencies, and fellow interactive partners.
-Takes on and completes special projects as requested.
-Leads and develops direct reports as assigned.
-Available 24/7 to address critical issues that impact restaurant operations.
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:
-Minimum 5+ years of experience working with Web coupled with a strong CMS background.
-Minimum 5+ years of experience servicing high volume web marketing initiatives.
-Solid understanding of web design including its limitations, challenges and opportunities (e.g., responsive design).
-Solid familiarity of core web technologies to assist Developers (e.g., HTML 5, Javascript, CSS, AJAX, WebServices, APIs).
-Demonstrated understanding of Analytics (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google, Media tagging).
-Excellent project management and analytical skills.
-Analyze opportunities and problems using best practices to drive product prioritization and strategy.
-Strong writing skills - have the ability to interpret information and clearly articulate your insights through multiple forms of written content.
-Strong understanding of how web experiences (e.g., desktop sites, mobile sites, mobile apps) fit into the -broader marketing strategies.
-Excellent communication and partnership skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
-Bachelor's degree in business, web design & development, marketing, digital marketing, or a related field required; MBA strongly preferred.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
-Previous experience in the Restaurant Company, Hospitality Company, Consumer Packaged Goods Company, or Advertising Agency.
-Passion for food and hospitality.
-Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and hold team members accountable for performance.
-Experience with Photoshop.
