The Supervisor of Revenue Accounting leads accounting for credit card settlements, accounts receivable, and cash paid-outs. The role supervises a team of approximately six individuals who are primarily responsible for ensuring all funds are received from credit card settlements, associated costs are properly recognized in accordance with GAAP, and credit card chargebacks and refunds are addressed appropriately and timely.


-Develop credit card payment industry knowledge; stay well informed on mandates, regulatory and technology changes and communicate accordingly

-Ensure an adequate control environment exists including accurate and timely preparation of reconciliations and reporting for various stakeholders; ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and PCI compliance standards

-Act as the primary day-to-day liaison with our credit card acquirer

-Develop team members by providing support, training and other professional growth opportunities; manage individual and team performance through coaching, feedback, and performance management discussions

-Provide support to the restaurants and other internal business partners

-Contribute to credit card payment projects/initiatives, perform ad hoc requests to support business objectives and legal requirements

-Help drive efficiency and effectiveness through process improvements including leveraging automation

-Prioritize actions based on needs of the team, focusing on impact and value creation

-Identify and communicate emerging trends and their impact so action is prioritized appropriately

-Participate in meetings to influence business decisions with insight and analysis


-4+ years of experience with progressing responsibility in moderate to complex accounting roles

-Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting and SOX requirements

-Prior experience leading people

-Excellent analytical skills, strong initiative and flexibility in analyzing results

-Project management experience

-Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

-Credit card payment experience preferred


-Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field


-Excellent oral and written communication skills

-Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions

-Ability to lead, coach and develop direct reports

-Strong interpersonal, analytical, and managerial skills

-Ability to plan, organize and lead projects with minimal guidance

-Prioritize effectively to move multiple concurrent tasks to completion

-Meet aggressive deadlines with accurate and concise analyses


-MBA, CPA or related advanced degree

-Experience with Oracle Financials Discoverer, Hyperion, MicroStrategy BI, or similar financial systems preferred

-Restaurant experience a plus
