The Network Analyst's role is to maintain and administer the voice, data and wireless network services. This is achieved by having a solid understanding of networking fundamentals and analytical skills. In addition, the Network Analyst will participate in the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all network hardware, software, and communication links.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Configures and deploys wireless infrastructure, firewalls, routers, switches and other hardware.
-Configures and administers networks to ensure their smooth and reliable operation for fulfilling business objectives and processes.
-Monitors network performance and troubleshoots problem areas as needed.
-Collaborates with senior network engineers and management to support their projects and initiatives.
-Creates and maintains documentation as it relates to network configuration, network mapping, processes, and service records.
-Analyzes data, voice or video network documentation and assists in communicating to management regarding the current operational status of networks.
-Escalates any potential network issues to management and acts with a sense of urgency to restore restaurant connectivity.
-Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:
-1+ years' Supporting LAN's, WAN's, TCP/IP and associated networking
-1+ years' experience with telecommunications systems including VoIP telephony
-Preferred Certifications: Cisco CCNA , Juniper JNCIA CompTIA Network
-Working knowledge of wide area monitoring and connectivity troubleshooting skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
OTHER KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
-Ability to convey a strong presence, professional image, and deal confidently with complex technical problems
-Ability to be on-call on a rotating basis and available 7x24
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
-Bachelor's Degree supplemented by 1+ years of progressive IT experience preferred.
