Associate Manager – Digital Analytics

The Associate Manager – Digital Analytics leads operational excellence for the Darden CRM Analytics team across Darden’s portfolio of brands. Provides strategic direction in the planning, organization, and implementation of new technologies and existing digital platforms to help deliver Darden's overall growth initiatives. This role maintains responsibility for establishing digital best practices and processes with internal stakeholders and external agency partners driving adoption across the entire enterprise.

Additionally, the Associate Manager – Digital Analytics interacts closely with individuals at all levels throughout the organization, across multiple functions, and with vendor partners to ensure alignment and implementation across multiple digital initiatives.


-Converts brand digital marketing strategies into enterprise action plans to achieve digital marketing growth opportunities through qualitative and quantitative analysis

-Leads and develops, digital media optimization strategies though quantitative statistical analysis leveraging 1st and 3rd party data

-Coaches, trains and leads digital measurement best practices with digital marketing and cross-functional partners

-Manages and leads brand and enterprise analytical projects to drive insights and actions to improve operational efficiencies, customer experience, revenue growth and profitability

-Develops tracking standards (SDR) for data capture with support from engineering team

-Possesses an in-depth knowledge of all components of the eCommerce Analytics Platform (Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics) in order to provide understanding of data to Business, Brand, and Marketing end users

-Ensures data accuracy, investigating data anomalies, determining if there are any issues, work with IT and development teams to address issues

-Provides guidance and input on new measurement initiatives including measurement strategy, data layer design and syntax

-Leads and collaborates with internal teams to accomplish digital goals though deep analysis

-Develops comprehensive dashboard reporting for digital optimization

-Plans, organizes, monitors, and helps support enterprise and brand level digital technology projects, ensures resource alignment, engagement, commitment, and risk management

-Provides strategic direction to generate, develop, and communicate new ideas, including development, testing, implementation, and post analysis of new technology taking an iterative approach though data driven optimization recommendations


-Individual should have 3+ years of experience

-Extensive professional experience in Digital, ecommerce and Cross Channel Analytics leveraging the Adobe Marketing Cloud suite of tools with professional expertise in Adobe Analytics (or Google Analytics) and Adobe Target (or Google Optimize)

-Professional experience packaging analysis in clear and concise reports, developing presentations and presenting findings to all levels in the organization

-Experience should include 3+ years of experience with digital marketing analysis and 2+ years of experience supporting digital marketing, e-commerce, or related direct response marketing channels servicing high volume websites

-Demonstrated, working knowledge of tagging, reporting and developing enterprise solution design documents using Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics

-Proven capability to develop and create clear and detailed processes supporting a preexisting brand strategy

-Proven ability to achieve desired outcomes on time and within budget through the application of project management principles, software and techniques

- Demonstrated understanding of integrated digital activities, technology dependencies and quality assurance in executing digital solutions

-Previous successful management execution of online media, including search engine marketing, online analytics and digital advertising preferred

-Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and hold team members accountable for performance

-Professional experience with Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics (required)


-Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Information Technology, Computer Science or a degree in STEM technologies, Business, MIS or a relevant professional work experience


-Knowledge of online media terminology, concept expertise, and technology

-Knowledge of and ability leverage current consumer and industry behaviors trends, attitudes, preferences, and needs required

-Strong knowledge of web analytics reporting and insights gathering including understanding of tracking / floodlight code application


-Master's degree (e.g., MBA)

-Adobe Analytics Processing Rule Certification

-Adobe Analytics ACE certification
