HR Technology Associate Analyst

Job Overview:

The HR Technology Associate Analyst supports HR clients to leverage the return on HR technologies by ensuring that HR systems deliver the designed processes, reports and service levels to meet/exceed user requirements. In partnership with various members of the HR Technology team, the HR Technology Associate Analyst is also responsible for reviewing systems needs and assisting in the design, testing, and implementation of new programs/information systems, processes, and applications. He/she assists process owners with process administration, ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes or upgrades, user training, report development and distribution, and analyzing data for process improvement opportunities.


-Provides production support for HR Technology (e.g., monitors systems performance, researches and resolves problems, addresses errors/flaws, performs scheduled activities)

-Develops and maintains user procedures, guidelines, and documentation such as job aids and training

-Communicates system or process changes to users with varying technical knowledge

-Assists in the review, testing, documentation and implementation of system upgrades or patches; responsible for quality assurance, creation of test scripts and testing execution

-Primary responsibility for Payroll testing and support. Must be intermediate or above in understanding of PeopleSoft payroll setup and processes

-Uses knowledge of the software to suggest system configuration changes; coordinates with HR Systems and IT as appropriate

-Provides System Reporting and Query Services:

-Maintains and supports reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools to assess process and system effectiveness, ensuring regulatory compliance and providing information to management

-Assist Process Owner and teams with use of the system and maximizing system efficiency and effectiveness

Required Skills/Abilities:

-3+ years of experience supporting enterprise systems, specifically PeopleSoft HCM

-Experience presenting technical information, explaining system concepts, providing instruction, and coaching in a user-friendly manner

-Experience with report development and data queries (e.g., SQL, PS Query, etc)

-PeopleSoft Payroll experience

-PeopleSoft Time and Labor experience

-Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Education and Experience:

-Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience required

-Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially

-Ability to work on multiple projects at once in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment
