The Sr. Social Media Analyst, Content position is responsible for bringing our brands to life on social media in creative and meaningful ways that build loyalty among our guests and Team Members, while also being results-oriented to achieve specific objectives through compelling social storytelling.


- The Sr. Analyst works closely with the Managers/Assoc. Managers on the team to understand each brand’s strategy as they partner in all stages of the content process including: planning, brainstorming, briefing, project management, copy development, as well supporting with some basic graphic design/creative work.

-Collaboration is a crucial skill for the Sr. Analyst position, as well as being detail-oriented, having high personal standards, willing to take risks and be curious, and showcasing a passion for the Darden brands (and the restaurant industry, as a whole).

-Experience with all aspects of social media and being an avid user of various social platforms, especially TikTok and Instagram, are required for this role.

-Fully understand brand standards and guidelines, brand social media strategy (inclusive of tone and visual POV), and display this through all work provided.

-Participate in the planning and content mapping process to ensure consistent and accurate content calendars.

-Deliver original innovative ideas/concepts, in tandem with the social media Managers/Assoc. Managers, to be applied to content calendar messaging for many brands, every month.

-Prepare creative briefs clearly articulating the graphic design and multimedia needs.

-Develop creative project timelines for the social content and display effective project management skills in a fast-paced environment. Manage changes to the schedules and provide consistent communication with the teams involved to meet defined deadlines.

-Lead creative briefings with the graphic design and multimedia teams articulating expectations on creative concept, deadlines, budgets, creative mandatories, etc.

-Ability to create visual content on occasion using tools like Canva and/or Photoshop, as well as leveraging our Asset Library to select and match images or videos to the monthly calendar.

-Review creative in advance of the Manager/Assoc. Manager to ensure the content is on-brand and accurate, having met the criteria offered in the brief.

-Ability to write compelling, creative and engaging social media copy for multiple social platforms, following specific brand tone guidelines for all of Darden’s restaurant brands.

-Reviews analytics of content performance to inform future content ideas, as well as providing insights to the Manager/Assoc. Manager for monthly/quarterly reports.

-Stays up-to-date in real time on current events and trending topics (including pop-culture) and social media trends/memes/new features and platforms, to provide innovative and engaging content ideas.

-Keeps current on internal and external audiences to understand their preferences and how best to creatively inform and engage.

-Maintains strong relationships with functional team members in departments including PR, Internal & External Communications, Graphic Design, Multimedia, Paid Social Media, Brand Marketing and Consumer Insights.

-Provides a strong understanding of social media platforms, features, protocols/restrictions, and social management software.


-In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn etc.), and how to use them.

-4+ years of experience in social media management, social media content creation, social community engagement and/or marketing.

-Superior written communication skills, proven ability to manage many projects at once (including digital and production related projects).

-Knowledge of using tools/software for administrative work (Microsoft Office/iWork), social media management (Khoros/Hootsuite/Sprinkr), visual design (Canva/Adobe Creative Suite) and file sharing (Box/DropBox/Google Docs).


- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.


- Ability to drive ideas and gain credibility and rapport with all types of internal and external stakeholders in a team environment

-Passion for food and hospitality, social media, PR, marketing, emerging technologies, digital marketing, and exuding an “of service” mentality.


- Agency experience a plus
