JOB OVERVIEW

The Senior Compensation Analyst provides analytical support and compensation consulting, reporting to the Manager of Executive and Equity Compensation. The primary focus of this position is to provide analytical support to the compensation team. This role will research, analyze and communicate compensation trends, using internal and external information/data, to make recommendations primarily for executive/professional compensation and long-term equity incentive programs. This position also supports various governance requirements related to compensation.


ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Benchmark, evaluate and monitor competitive market position in regards to various compensation practices and programs

-Review requests for promotions, demotions and other pay adjustments. Make recommendations for and prepare offers, competitive market pay adjustments and promotions

-Analyze and assist in the administration of long-term incentive programs, including modeling financial impacts and identifying employee impacts

-Prepare materials for compensation committee meetings

-Compile executive compensation and equity sections of the annual Proxy statement

-Provide leadership (project plan and timelines, documentation, updates, track progress) for various projects

-Develop relationships with key internal groups (including Finance, Legal, Human Resources, and employees) help support, inform, and guide on stock and executive compensation implementation, and administration

-Various analyses and projects as needed to support Executive Compensation and Total Reward leaders


REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:

-Minimum of three years of increasingly responsible experience in a role that includes complex analytical and research assignments

-Highly proficient with Excel, Word and PowerPoint


REQUIRED EDUCATION:

-Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, finance or accounting or related field

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

-Advanced degree preferred

-PeopleSoft HR experience preferred

-Executive and/or equity compensation consulting experience a plus

-Retail, hospitality or restaurant industry experience a plus
